Sabino Canyon

36 x 36 inches
Acrylic on Canvas

This one is all about nature and its force, about a flashflood that came down Sabino Canyon and shredded giant cottonwoods, wrapping the shreds like strands of hair around the few remaining trees. It left silver sand and golden ponds of water behind, it watered purple prickly pears and moved boulders.
Impermanence –nothing remains the same.
